Yesssssss. Finally.
Well, long story short, after 10 months of a living hell, Heidi appears to be on the mend for good this time. Last week we took her to the E.R. because her nausea/vomiting was totally out of hand and they pumped her full of the same meds they give her every visit. It stablized her system and the next day she put in a few hours at work. Her boss mentioned that a neighbor was sick in bed vomiting for a year with no amount of tests etc. able to figure out what was wrong. It turned out that an absess tooth was putting infection into her bloodstream and making her sick. Genetically Heidi has the worst dental history of all time so as soon as she relayed the story I asked if she had any teeth that could be doing this. She said absolutely but has been too sick to even care. Long story short, we visited the oral surgeon and voila, she hasn't thrown up in 3 days now!!!! I feel like theres actually hope now that we can get our lives back and that instead of withering away on the couch she can get back to her old self as she continues to heal. Come to find out that the problems that the rest of your body can encounter from issues stemming with your teeth are endless. Things you'd never even think about as possiblities. Man I cannot express how glad I am that this is over. Thanks so so so much to all our good friends and family for all the support over the last year while we tried to figure this all out.
